Tevo Terms of Service

Welcome to Tevo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tevo app and related services. By tapping Get Started, accessing, or using Tevo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Account
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session and device access.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
- You must provide accurate and lawful information when using the service.
- You may Log Out at any time. Delete Account permanently removes locally stored garden data, care logs, profile information, and Coins associated with the review experience; some markers or server-side records may be retained as required for security, billing, or legal compliance.
2. Service Description
Tevo provides features including but not limited to:
- Personal plant garden management and Today's Care timeline.
- Care logging with photos and optional voice notes (Water, Fertilize, Prune, Repot, Mist, Clean, Check).
- Plant map tagging and care history browsing.
- Explore guides for Indoor, Outdoor, and Succulents care tips.
- Smart Scan AI-assisted plant identification.
- Profile settings such as nickname and avatar.
- Optional in-app purchases for digital Coins used by Smart Scan.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service based on product, technical, legal, or security needs.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws, regulations, or rights of others.
- Upload or store illegal, infringing, abusive, harmful, hateful, or sexually inappropriate content (including avatars, nicknames, photos, notes, or voice recordings).
- Interfere with system security, integrity, or normal operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, or misuse the service without authorization.
- Use automated tools to abuse registration, traffic, identification requests, or transactions.
- Misrepresent identification results as certified scientific, medical, or professional horticultural advice.
4. User Content
- You retain rights to content you create or upload, subject to applicable law.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve services.
- You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights and is lawful.
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or legal requirements.
5. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency
- Some features require digital Coins, including Smart Scan plant identification (95 Coins per successful identification in the current review build).
- First launch may grant a one-time newbie bonus (285 Coins).
- Billing and payment processing are handled by the Apple App Store.
- Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are subject to Apple policies and applicable law.
- Virtual Coins are consumable, non-transferable (unless required by law), and have no cash value outside the app.
- Purchases are generally final and non-refundable except as required by law or platform policy.
- Because Coins are consumable, Restore Purchases is not applicable.
6. AI-Assisted Plant Identification
- Smart Scan may use AI processing to suggest plant names and care-related information from photos you submit.
- Inputs you provide for identification are processed to fulfill your request.
- You retain control over content you upload.
- Identification results are assistive only, may be incomplete or incorrect, and do not replace professional advice.
- You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them for plant care decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
- The app, trademarks, logos, software, design, and service materials are owned by Tevo or licensors.
- Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the app or its materials.
- Built-in plant guides and sample content are provided for demonstration and personal care assistance within the app experience.

- The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
- We do not guarantee any specific gardening outcome, plant survival result, or identification accuracy from using the app or Smart Scan.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tevo and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, goodwill, plants, or virtual currency balances arising from your use of the service.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or pose security / risk concerns. You may stop using the service at any time by logging out, deleting your account, or uninstalling the app.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as needed. Material updates may be communicated via app notice, website notice, or other reasonable channels. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where services are provided, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your region.
